Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Thank you for taking a look at the Keefer Crossing Middle School website. It is a great way for you to stay informed about school events and about what is happening in your child’s classrooms, so be sure to explore our many webpages. KCMS offers a wide selection of academic courses and extracurricular activities, and we look forward to you and your student taking part. They grow up fast, and now they are already in middle school. In a short time they will be freshmen, and a few years later they will be adults. These are formative years for these students, as they will develop the study skills and work habits that will serve them from here on.
An important part of the school experience is involvement in extracurricular activities. Students who are involved in school activities generally experience greater success and achievement, and they develop lasting relationships with peers and instructors. At KCMS we have band, choir, athletics, yearbook, CCIA, Student Council, and many other organizations to join. This year we have begun pilot programs for students interested in dance and for students interested in history, and there are more to come. I invite you to check out the many organizations that we have, and find one or two to get involved with.

Andy Pearson.
Principal Keefer Crossing Middle School
